Meanwhile, Diana of Themyscira or Wonder Woman as she is better known, was scanning the streets from high above. Daredevil was slippery for a human even if he were mutagenically enhanced. After tedious hours she finally finds his trail; she touches down in a dark alley, fully expecting a trap but none comes. Just as she is about to take off she hears it, the smallest scuffle. She rushes the sound, unable to discern its source; then he’s on her back. His Billy club pressed tightly against her throat, his legs and arms wrapped around her body with all the strength he can muster. As strong as she is, she can’t grab hold of him but all is not lost. She takes flight and gains speed, heading straight for wall. She knows her strength and durability are her greatest assets and through sheer will, she crashes into the building. Both heroes are down but Diana regains herself first, she wraps the crime-fighter in her lasso and heads straight up, into the reaches of the atmosphere. She says her good byes to a noble adversary and lets go, watching his crimson body fall for thousands of feet before she says a quiet prayer to the Gods of old and flies off.
