Punisher vs Iron Man

Anthony Stark, better known as Iron Man, knew there was no point in delaying this confrontation. His opponent was Frank Castle. The Punisher, as Castle accurately styled himself, has a vigante of sorts desparately trying to bring balance to a world that had delt him a cruel hand. Castle had strategically placed himself at a race track to give himself an endless amount of riding room to face his opponent. The Punisher peered upward to see Iron Man hover into the race track in superhero like fashion. Levitating effortlessly, Iron Man saluted his opponent with respect and Punisher responded by quickly drawing the guns at his sides releasing a barrage of ammunition fire. The bullets scattered uselessly against Iron Man’s metallic exterior, but they were followed by a missle that escaped from the front of Castle’s enhanced motorcycle.

Iron Man’s jets strafted him sideways preventing a direct hit, but Castle’s missle still managed a devestating blow to Iron Man’s left shoulder ripping away any protective armor and revealing a very human bloody shoulder. The missle was followed by a second hand gun barrage by Castle strategically placed at Iron Man’s shoulder. Iron Man continued to strafe away from the assault, but also began closing the gap between him and his opponent. Punisher began riding around the track, releasing a set of smaller missles. The tiny rockets developed numerous weak points in Iron Man’s armor as well as taking his palm cannons offline, but his left shoulder remained Stark’s only real weak point. Aware of this Stark turned sideways and began a downward assault, his right arm thrust forward leading the charge. Punisher couldn’t swerve out of the way in time as Iron Man’s fist collided with the rear of Castle’s motorcycle sending it into the raceway wall.

Unbelievably, Castle had jumped after feeling the contact of Iron Man’s fist jousting his ride. The Punisher took out the remaining machine gun he had on his person and accurately emptied his last clip into Stark’s exposed shoulder causing the Iron Man to crash into the raceway track. Purposefully struting towards his now downed opponent, the Punisher now hovered over Iron Man in anything, but superhero fashion. Castle kicked Stark’s shoulder once followed by a second, third and fourth time before turning around and walking over to his bike. Amongst the reckage, he found the crowbar that he had crafted a holster for on the side of his bike. Unsheathing his crowbar from its iron case, Castle’s bruised and battered exterior gave him a zombie like aura with a demonic style purpose.

The pain in his shoulder was acute, yet everywhere. Stark awoke to the nightmare that he thought he had passed out into. He saw the dark warrior only a few steps away and then he saw the crowbar raised slightly above his opponent’s head about to begin the series of attacks that would end his life. Iron Man knew that his prepulsion systems were damaged and that using them could cause his suit to implode, but he had no choice. Energy surged through Stark’s body, but only his left leg’s prepulsion system kicked in, sending his body spinning in a circle. The sweep kick from Iron Man’s nearly lifeless body caught the Punisher off guard and shattered his knee as metal hit bone. Castle fell to the ground just as Iron Man’s leg made its second pass to catch the Punisher firmly in the face. The result was only one man left alive, Anthony Stark the Iron Man.
